How fun would it be to get one of these in the mail?
These are the mini banners, part of the Spring Junque Borders kit by HOF3! The big flags are just 3 cm tall!!! It was a bit challenging to sew those on a tiny piece of ribbon, i can tell ya!
Combined with a bright colored thank you card (Spring Junque solids, Fold over card set and thanks Silhouette shape from HOF3) it's a perfect pair!
This was not the only thing on my craft table today...
I finally started on the glimmermist album that i wanted to make for weeks now! The file folder paper takes the glimmermist very well, if you are patient and let it soak in, that is!
I wasn't sure what to do with this album when it's done, so i guess that's why it took me so long to start. But Jo got me thinking about another Week in the Life project. Ali started one this week (you can read more about it here), and Jo participates and asked me if i wanted to play along! At first i said no, but then i occurred to me that this was maybe the kind of project that this album needed.
So, today i decided to play along... (i'm a day behind, but that doesn't matter... i play along from Tuesday till Monday then...) and i started by taking pictures... i'll show you the highlights of my day...
After sleeping in (got to do that a lot nowadays!) i got up at 10.30! Time for my morning coffee! Had my breakfast and vitamins while watching tv (mostly BBC!). Then it was time to get properly showered and dressed, which takes a lot of time since i'm ill.
Doing laundry was on my list today! Washing and folding!
13.00 Time for lunch! Two sandwiches with cheese, a large glass of buttermilk and a banana!
14.00 This afternoon i started misting my album pages! Stach was playing with his cousin Job after school and Gerard was working in his study!
Somehow it was kind of a tough day for me (things are going so slow because i don't have much energy these days, and i feel often very useless! And i'm getting chemo again tomorrow, so that does not help much either!) and at the end of the afternoon i needed some pep-talk from Gerard! Luckily he's very understanding and supportive! Dinner was on the table at 18.30! Gerard made meatballs, broccoli and baked mini potatoes! Stach and i had ice-cream for desert!
After dinner Stach noticed that i was taking pictures and he wanted to play along using the self-timer on my camera!
And then it was time for a bed time story!Stach went to bed at 19.45 and i made coffee and tidied the kitchen and living-room. Gerard went to work in his study again and i played some more in my studio!23.00 loaded todays pictures on my laptop and made a selection of the ones i wanted to use. Time for a blog post!At 23.30 it was time to call it a day... finished my post while having a late night snack (herbal tea and a rice cracker with peanut butter)
That's it for today! I'm not sure how i'm going to fit it all in that album, because it's not that big... 17 by 17 cm. But i'll figure something out!
