How do you like the December daily album so far? It's not that crafty -meaning lot's of hand made details, layers of paper or special embellishments, but i do have to keep it kind of simple or i don't stand a chance of completing it! And it still is a lot of work... but it's going well so far and my album is filling up!
Ok, day 7 and 8...
Because there wasn't a load to tell, i kept it a simple 'one pager' for both days...
Journaling is abracadabra for you guys, unless you're able to read Dutch :)... but it's all about Stach demonstrating the new table pool game to a friend and his grandma, just when i was about to leave for work. And about the dark setting in so soon every day, which gives me lots of opportunity to light a bunch of candles... the ones in my window make it look so cozy when it's dark outside! But there's still no sight of any Christmas decoration in my home... maybe tomorrow?
The transparency is a simple photo sleeve from Hema (use those throughout the whole album, btw), cut down to size and sewn into smaller 'pockets' on my sewing machine with clear acrylic tread... i was a bit concerned at first that it wouldn't work well, sewing with plastic through plastic, but on a slow speed it went quit well actually... oh, and before sewing it to close i filled the pockets with tiny silver stars, the number tags and a piece of patterned paper...
Day 8 is on the other side... looking yummy, that tower of profiteroles, now does it? Stach thinks so too, so he wants to make it for Christmas :) Th picture is the cover from a food magazine from one of our major food stores here...
