December 20th already, where does the time go? Last time we met here on Life and Scrapping it was September :)... what have you been doing since then?
What i did? Well, long story short... recovering from surgery... and then trying to get back in the rhythm of every day (which was very difficult)... celebrating my birthday... working in my studio, trying to finish several projects (which i did)... trying to get back to work (which i did several hours per week)... visiting my doctors for various check-ups in hospital (which were good)... celebrated Sinterklaas...
But somehow it all seemed to be too much... so i'm home again, on sick leave (according to my boss it's a long obliged Christmas break :) they're very supportive at work!)... slowing things down very seriously... trying to get a grip on everything that's happened the past few years, and finding out how i'm going to deal with it all in my every day life...
So, what better to do when you've got to slow down than:

Yes, you may have guessed it, although you may not believe it :)... it's a December Daily album!

It's really nice to be crafty in my studio, it takes my mind of things to listening to some - new- favorite seasonal song, sipping coffee from one of my Christmas mugs, playing around with paper, digi goodies and telling stories from the every day in December...
The album is a black two ring binder, that i've re-sized a little bit before covering the outside with canvas and painted it in an off white color... the snowflakes are cut on my Silhouette SD from fuzzy white vinyl... big one on the front of the album, small one on the back... the red letters on the spine are canvas ones from Prima, that i hand glittered... my actual plan was to decorate the cover a bit further, but i actually like how it is now, so it stays as it is...
The size of the album is big enough to accommodate Ali's 6 x 8,5 inch December Daily Overlay kit and the matching photo template kit, which i'm using...
I've chosen the hybrid approach: journaling and adding photo's digital, and after printing finishing the whole spread with (pre-printed digital) patterned papers in a festive red and grey color scheme... so far it's working well! Want to see for yourself? Check out my next blog entries then (it's easier to link the pages if i post them separately)...
