These last few days i'm busy prepping another album project (no, i'm not telling yet what it is!!!), so it's very well possible that this last LSNED post is soon to be followed by more fun 'nd cute album pages... i guess you can tell i love doing album projects, wink!
But for now let's go back to entry 26 of LSNED 2012...
On September 26th i learned that i'm a slow patient kind of scrapper, even if i set myself a few straight boundaries in advance of the scrapping session...
But i love the things i chose beforehand... a vintage 7Gypsies round seal stamp, and few digi brushes from the Just Thinking Kit by Karla Dudley, two sheets of vintage patterned paper (Paper Salon) and some embellishing...
On September 27th i learned this: making time to focus on a specific task and work on so i can finish it (in a reasonal amount of time) is really doable!!!
Again a bunch of vintage stuff on this one... very old snowflake match book rub-ons by Heidi Swapp (remember those folks???), old PP by Paper Salon and Elsie by KI Memories, and a tiny tag sticker by 7Gypsies... a glittered hello die cut (Silhouette), a few beads and a bit of machine stitching complete the whole thing...
Entry 28 gave me a few laughs and a fun but sweet lesson: it's a good thing in my book to spoil your child 'rotten' from time to time!!!
Chevron paper is from the Neapolitan line by AC, background paper from the digi Cool Summer paper kit by Karla Dudley, the two blue word rubons are very vintage by KI Memories, and a few brads and sequins complete it all!
Lesson 29: very unexpectedly i learned how to make wooden wants! Never thought i would do such a thing, but it was very fun to do!
Blue dotted paper is from the Right Now kit, word art and flower stamp are from the Asbee collection and the happy tag from the Lime You lots kit, all by Karla Dudley. See how nice the combo of digital and traditional scrapping is? It's a very simple design, but because i could make it all perfectly matching in size and color it turned out very pleasant!
Oh, and those tiny shiny hot fix dots are great to give that little extra something...
And on to the last entry: focusing and getting into a good work flow really helped to get this album done in short amount of time! (Getting the whole project posted took me much longer :-) !!)
Word paper is from an old book, blue paper from the Buttercup 6x6 paperpad by Lilybee design...
I stamped and embossed that flower image (stamp by Prima) , the you shape from the Silhouette store by Karla Dudley, i added white glitter after cutting!
And so we get to the end of LSNED 2012... another album to cherish!
Hope you enjoyed this as much as i did...
As mentioned in a previous post i have some other things in the works... i've got some fabulous papers and embellishments to work with, so it will be good!!!! Hope to see you the next time here on Life and Scrapping?
