Checked in on Ali's blog today, and I saw her question about our word for 2007...
Well, my word (explore) is still on the windowsill in my tiny studio, so I stare at it at least a few times a day... but I also have a great explore mini album, that I haven't shared completely yet!
So... here we go:
The cover is made out heavy chipboard, that I stamped and painted. After that I layered the explore definition on top. I binded the album with a large screw.
I made the pages out of clear thick sheets, and used some of the Heidi Swapp masks with paint on them to get a see through effect. Now that was really fun to do! So, if you shift the cover, you see right through a couple of pages...
There are 7 pages, one for every letter of the word explore...
The tiny explore journaling card that you can see on every page is home made...
The pages are in fact very simple: I made an easy format and used that for every page! But because I used different colors on every page, it still looks cool... well, anyway, I think so!
Well, back to my home made foam stamp project! More to come on that project tomorrow!
Curiosity got the better of me when reading the comments posted on Ali's blog. Your mini book on explore is beautiful. I love the idea of seeing through one page to the next.

Love this idea and I am going to do something similiar with my word. Couple of questions though, what did you use for the thick clear sheets? Did you sew each letter? Did you buy the letters or cut them out? What papers did you use?
Thanks,
Betsy

gorgeous!
I was pleased Ali mentioned about the word for 2007. I blog about mine regularly & also made a canvas featuring HAPPY, my word.
I look forward to the Aezine real soon. It gave me direction!!
