Don't you love getting snail mail? Of sending it, for that matter?
I do, especially when it's hand made... and when you have a cute new digital stash of papers and other matching digi goodies, it's easy to create some cute invites you can send...
I got to play with one of the latest kits from Karla Dudley, Penelopi... it's full of cute digi papers, fun brushes, stickers and even digital washi tape!
When i finished the cards, i couldn't stop playing with it, and made some matching envelopes...used a digi sticker from the Ashbee elements kit as a place to write the adress...
Dressed the whole thing up a bit with a few hand sewn tiny glass beads by Güttermannn, and -of course- a bit of machine stitching... i even managed to get some glitter down in that tiny tiny heart on the envelope sticker... it's about 2 mm wide, so yay for steady hands and thin brushes!!!
And how about that cute charm i made... printed a sheet full of that sweet little bird and used my circle punch to make the shapes... after glueing them back to back, i attached them to the card with a jump ring... love small details like that!!
Well, needles to say it was fun to write and mail these cute invites!
I'll be back tomorrow with more LSNED pages, but thought it was nice to share this in between! See you around the blog?
That is really cute! As you can tell from my blog, I'm an enthusiast of exchanging snail mail and mailart. Your little cards and matching envelopes are really cute! Your recipients are very lucky :)

Wat een leuk idee! Print je de digi materialen zelf of laat je dat doen bij een copycentre o.i.d.?

I just print at home... Different papers have a different saturation, but i like a matte effect so i print on heavy plain paper...
